Lucy in the photo studio - 2 months old

These were all taken around Lucy's 2-month birthday during a weekend.  We didn't have much else planned so we set up the in-home studio and tried some artistic shots of Lucy.  She was a very tolerant little girl, mostly putting up with the long sessions.  This was far from "still life" photography as she was wiggling-wiggling most of the time.  Props to Laura for helping me with the lighting, the backdrops, and with wrangling the wiggler :)

We started just by taking some pictures in bed after noticing the nice morning light coming in through the window.

Looking up to momma!

Then we set up the black and white sheets for some artsy shots.

Next was naked baby time.  We were mentally prepared to do some laundry after the shoot!

A couple days later, I tried to do an impromptu mirror shoots out in the yard, but Laura wasn't there to help and it was a fiasco.  I was fumbling gear and not being efficient.  Lucy got upset and when I picked her up to console her, a bird pooped on the mirror and I called it quits.  Maybe next time...
